thermal spray coatings

Flame Spraying

The flame spraying process utilises an oxy acetylene flame and compressed air to to apply a powder based metal coating to a substrate. This has a number of applications from re-building worn parts to  providing wear resistant coatings to new components. This process often allows high value parts to be repaired at a fraction of the cost required for a replacement part.

Quick Repair

We offer rapid turnaround times for repair work, and understand that the industries we serve require equipment to be operational as quickly as possible.

Cost Effective

Applying thermal coatings is an extremely cost effective solution as it allows high value or obsolete parts to be repaired at a fraction of the cost required for new part replacement.

Range of Applications

  • Repair of worn or damaged surfaces in rotating parts such as motors, pumps and valves.
  • Repair of worn bearing journals and seal surfaces.
  • Wear resistant coatings can be applied to softer substrate materials improving service life.
  • Coatings to provide additional friction for rollers to aid automated processes.
